EXPLANATION
In the bible, kingdom refers to several different ideas. In the Old Testament texts which refer to events before the sixth century BCE, the word has a geographical meaning. It refers to either the kingdom of Israel in the north, or the kingdom of Judah in the south. After the destruction of these two kingdoms, the word is used to refer to a kingdom in the future which will be brought about by God, who will also be its king.
In the New Testament it also refers to a future kingdom under God’s control (or that of Jesus), but then can refer to something spiritual. In Luke 17:20, Jesus says that “the kingdom of God is among you”. This was his response to the Pharisees, who asked him when would the kingdom come.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner css=”.vc_custom_1590759400194{padding-top: 0px !important;padding-right: 20px !important;padding-bottom: 20px !important;padding-left: 20px !important;background-color: #f8f8f8 !important;}” el_class=”sign-layout-2″][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]DISTRIBUTION
